Role Overview:
We are looking for a proactive, bilingual (Japanese–English) Senior Operations Executive to join our growing team at our Japan Headquarters. This pivotal role will oversee and optimize our entire operational process from vehicle procurement to final shipment ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and client satisfaction at every step.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Oversight: Manage the complete logistics cycle, ensuring smooth coordination between procurement, storage, and shipment operations.
Partner Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with shipping lines, freight forwarders, and transport companies to guarantee seamless vehicle movements.
Process Optimization: Identify operational bottlenecks and implement process improvements for greater efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
Negotiation & Coordination: Secure vessel space and shipping schedules, ensuring timely vehicle dispatches to global clients.
Business Development: Leverage your network and strategic insight to explore new market opportunities and contribute to Kobe Motor’s international growth.
Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams sales, accounts, and logisticsto ensure end-to-end operational excellence.
Requirements:
Language Skills: Fluent in both Japanese and English (written and spoken).
Experience: Proven background in operations, logistics, or automotive trade (export industry experience preferred).
Negotiation: Strong negotiation skills with a record of successful deal-making.
Problem Solving: Analytical and solution-oriented mindset; able to handle complex operational challenges independently.
Organization: Excellent multitasking and time-management skills; strong attention to detail.
Adaptability: Thrive in a fast-paced, multicultural environment with changing priorities.
