A global communications firm is seeking a Head of Healthcare Communication Department. The selected candidate will drive business growth, strategic leadership, client advisory, and talent development across the healthcare portfolio.
Responsibilities:
- Lead business growth, P&L ownership, project delivery, and talent development for the healthcare team
- Define and execute the next phase of the Japan healthcare strategy
- Act as the primary liaison with global teams to expand healthcare offerings and support global clients entering Japan
- Build and maintain strong, trusted relationships with senior healthcare clients
- Oversee multi-project delivery to ensure quality, timeliness, and budget control
- Lead new business development and position the firm as a healthcare thought leader through industry engagement
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or above
- More than 15 years of pharmaceutical or medical device experience
- Prior experience building influential networks
- Proven experience in budget planning and oversight
- Background in campaigns and programs
- Understanding of healthcare industry
- Knowledge of MNC clients
- Proficient in spoken and written Japanese and English
