A global technology company is seeking a Finance Director. The selected candidate will lead financial strategy, manage operations, and provide analytical guidance to drive business growth and performance.
Responsibilities:
- Define and execute the country’s financial strategy and oversee all financial operations
- Plan, forecast, and report on revenue, expenses, and key financial KPIs
- Provide financial analysis and guidance to support business decisions and growth initiatives
- Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to enhance company results
- Evaluate major projects, sales bids, investments, and business development opportunities
- Lead financial planning, budgeting, and monitoring of long-term projects Participate in acquisitions, joint ventures, and strategic partnerships, including due diligence
- Oversee financial systems, internal controls, and compliance
- Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team
- Manage external audits and coordinate with legal and corporate compliance teams
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Accounting or Finance
- 10–15 years of total experience
- More than 5 years of experience in a senior financial role in a related B2B industry
- More than 5 years of supervisory experience
- Prior experience in sales reporting and analysis under a global matrix organisation
- Experience with multi-national operations, Buy & Sell models, and dealer management
- Experience with SAP (Hyperion is ideal)
- Proficient in MS Office Suite
- Native level Japanese; business level English (TOEIC 850+)
Preferred requirements:
- Advanced degree in Business Administration or Finance/Accounting
- Previous experience with the financial aspects of dealer management (pricing, rebate incentive, etc)
- Familiarity with Japan GAAP / Tax law and IFRS
- Possess a valid internationally recognised professional certification
