    Salary: ¥3.6M ~ ¥8.5M / Year

    ■Job Description:
    We are looking for an engineer to develop and support clean, scalable, custom backend solutions for multiple e-commerce sites operated by our company. You will primarily be involved in e-commerce projects targeting tourists visiting Japan and traditional Japanese crafts (such as a famous Japanese knife brand). This position allows you to work together to create unique e-commerce experiences and take on the challenge of implementing innovative features.

    You will work with front-end developers, designers, and the marketing team to build custom solutions and various integrations based on Shopify. You will also be responsible for all back-end operations essential to an e-commerce business, including system architecture design, API development, and performance optimization.

    We welcome individuals who can proactively make proposals and lead projects. This is a global workplace where communication skills in both English and Japanese can be put to good use in a multilingual environment.

    ■Required conditions:
    – 2-4 years of experience in backend development
    – Development experience using Node.js, Ruby, Python, PHP, etc.
    – Understanding the basic design and business flow of an e-commerce platform (cart, checkout, order processing, etc.)
    – Knowledge of Liquid (Shopify’s templating language)
    – Ability to carry out work in English (professional level)
    – Ability to write clean code that is easy to read and maintain
    – Experience with API integration (REST, GraphQL)

    ■ Welcome conditions:
    – Understanding or practical experience of Webflow structure and export
    – Experience customizing Shopify backend
    – Ability to carry out work in Japanese (business level preferred)
    – Experience in developing multilingual and cross-border e-commerce
    – Headless commerce knowledge
    – Experience with development and deployment using Git and CI/CD tools
    – Experience in developing products for visitors to Japan and traditional Japanese products
