Area Manager

    Salary: ¥5,000,000 – ¥10,000,000 per annum

    A global fashion retail company is seeking an Area Manager. The selected candidate will oversee retail operations, drive profitability, and lead teams to achieve business targets.

    Responsibilities:

    • Manage profit and loss of the retail business and implement effective business strategies
    • Lead sales staff teams to achieve financial targets and operational excellence
    • Monitor monthly sales budgets and goals, reporting performance and action plans to management
    • Maximise sales, manage costs, and achieve inventory-level KPIs
    • Collaborate with merchandising, marketing, and visual merchandising teams to execute promotions and special sales
    • Develop and implement operational procedures aligned with company standards
    • Enhance sales staff training and customer service in collaboration with the MD team
    • Stay updated on market, industry, and property trends
    • Manage, analyse, and report store data and sales staff commissions
    • Communicate frequently with store managers to resolve operational issues
    • Oversee budget planning, staffing plans, performance management, and incentive programs
    • Manage stock takes, inventory transfers, and defective stock disposal in compliance with global audit requirements

    Requirements:

    • More than 7 years of experience in store business management
    • More than 5 years of fashion retail experience
    • Proven experience in influencing, leading, and collaborating with teams, result driven
    • Proficient in MS Office Suite
    • Good leadership and management skills
    • Knowledge of department store operations
    • Proficient in English and Japanese
