Description
ALT=Assistant Language Teacher. ALTs work in public/private preschools, elementary, junior high, and high schools in assisting JTE(Japanese Teacher of English) and HRT(Homeroom Teacher) in team teaching the classes.
You will be instructed or requested by the JTE as regards the content of the lesson in order to expand the students’ knowledge of other countries and their lifestyles with a focus on improving speaking, listening, reading, and writing.

APS ALTs are not only classroom teachers but cultural ambassadors, motivators, and facilitators in the sense that we encourage and stimulate students by improving their desires to speak English and love English as a communicative tool, subject and as a language.
