Sales & Marketing Senior Manager

    Salary: ¥12,000,000 – ¥15,000,000 per annum

    A multinational manufacturing company is seeking a Senior Manager, Sales & Marketing. The selected candidate will drive growth strategies, lead customer-focused teams, and strengthen competitive positioning in the automotive market.

    Responsibilities:

    • Deliver annual growth plans and define account-specific tactics aligned with customer and company strategies
    • Assess and qualify new business opportunities and develop long-term strategies to meet customer demands
    • Conduct market research, analyse competitors, and develop strategies for competitive positioning
    • Communicate key results and forecasts to senior management
    • Identify new application areas and define account coverage and product requirements
    • Lead and develop customer-focused teams through goal setting, training, and coaching
    • Prepare financial justifications, quotations, and negotiate projects with a focus on profitability and contracting

    Requirements:

    • 5–10 years of sales/account management experience with strong contacts in key accounts
    • Automotive experience with Tier 1 or Tier 2 suppliers
    • Proven experience in the product development life cycle and ability to identify key deliverables
    • Skilled in building customer relationships, shaping strategy, and leading teams across borders
    • Native level Japanese; fluent level English
