A renowned automotive manufacturing company is looking for a Project Manager – Engineering. The selected candidate will lead engineering projects end to end, ensuring cost, quality, delivery, and feature targets are met while aligning stakeholders and project teams. This is a hybrid role.
Responsibilities:
- Lead planning, scheduling, and execution of engineering projects
- Manage project cost, product cost, quality, delivery, and technical features
- Communicate project expectations, priorities, and progress to stakeholders
- Track milestones, deliverables, and risks using appropriate project tools
- Manage scope changes, identify risks, and implement contingency plans
- Present project status and updates in review, reference, and engineering forums
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or above in engineering or a related field
- More than 10 years of experience from product development in truck or car industry, especially in engineering area
- Experience from and ability to work in a cross functional organisation
- Prior experience with process improvement and project management methodologies
- Knowledge of product and market
- Proficient in MS Office Suite
- Professional level English (Japanese is ideal)
Preferred requirements:
- Possess valid PMP certification from PMI
