Welcome to our school!
NAS KIDS UNIVERSITY is a growing school centered on an original concept: English and Physical Education.
At NKU, we offer a variety of activities for our students, including swimming lessons and gym classes. We are currently looking for energetic, creative teachers to join us in this exciting experience and help us further improve our program.
Our curriculum includes arts/crafts, sports, music, and other topics. Our teachers have many opportunities to teach in English in creative ways. We also hold several seasonal events throughout the year, including field trips and holiday celebrations.
Preschool teacher’s duties include:
– Lesson / Activity planning (Activities include arts/crafts, outdoor games/activities,
reading stories, as well as phonics and writing practice)
– Student lunch care (occasionally)
– Chaperoning students to and from gym and swimming lessons on the NAS KIDS
UNIVERSITY school bus
– Supporting gym/dance teachers during lessons
– Participating in special events such as Sports Day, Halloween/Christmas parties, or Entrance/Graduation ceremonies (Some events may take place on weekends.
Weekend duties are paid or in some cases offer additional leave)
– Being punctual, professional, and helping to maintain a clean, safe teaching
environment
Afterschool teacher’s duties include:
– Weekly Lesson/Activity planning (Activities include arts/crafts, music, science, and
other topics in English)
– Teaching daily English classes using a provided curriculum, textbook, and materials
(Maximum English class size is eight students)
– Helping students complete short English homework assignments, as well as English
writing and phonics practice
– Supporting AM Preschool students during their lunch time (Teacher lunch breaks
are separate)
– Chaperoning students to and from gym lessons on the NAS KIDS UNIVERSITY
school bus
– Supporting/gym/dance lessons using a provided curriculum
– Participating in special events such as Sports Day, Halloween/Christmas parties, as
well as yearly company meetings (Some events may take place on weekends.

– Being punctual and professional and helping to maintain a clean, safe teaching
environment
Job Requirements:
– Contract employment. There will be a paid trial period of one month for all new
employees, after which a longer contract could be offered
– Applicants must already have a valid Japanese working visa. Working holiday visas
cannot be accepted. We can offer working visa renewal, if necessary
– A university degree
– Teaching experience with young children
