Salary: ¥10,000,000 – ¥14,000,000 per annum
An international chemical manufacturing company is looking for a Senior HR Business Partner. The selected candidate will partner with business leaders to drive HR strategy, support organisational transformation, and strengthen people, performance, and culture across the business. This is a hybrid setup role.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with business and functional leaders to develop strategies that improve productivity, efficiency, and growth
- Design and implement HR initiatives that enhance the employee work environment and development
- Ensure strategic HR needs are aligned with business objectives and company standards
- Collaborate with HR teams on talent acquisition, performance management, compensation, and career development
- Coach and advise leaders on translating business requirements into HR programs and initiatives
- Analyse workforce and performance metrics to drive continuous improvement
- Strengthen employee relations, morale, engagement, and retention
- Resolve complex employee relations and team issues
- Ensure fair and consistent compensation and benefits practices
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Human Resources or a related field
- More than 5 years of experience as an HR Business Partner in a multinational company
- Experience across core HR functions, including HR operations, talent acquisition, talent development, and HRIS
- Native level Japanese; high level written and verbal English
Preferred requirements:
- Experience supporting M&A activities
- Prior experience working with labour unions
- Experience in manufacturing, construction, or chemical industries
