Senior HRBP

    Salary: ¥10,000,000 – ¥14,000,000 per annum

    An international chemical manufacturing company is looking for a Senior HR Business Partner. The selected candidate will partner with business leaders to drive HR strategy, support organisational transformation, and strengthen people, performance, and culture across the business. This is a hybrid setup role.

    Responsibilities:

    • Partner with business and functional leaders to develop strategies that improve productivity, efficiency, and growth
    • Design and implement HR initiatives that enhance the employee work environment and development
    • Ensure strategic HR needs are aligned with business objectives and company standards
    • Collaborate with HR teams on talent acquisition, performance management, compensation, and career development
    • Coach and advise leaders on translating business requirements into HR programs and initiatives
    • Analyse workforce and performance metrics to drive continuous improvement
    • Strengthen employee relations, morale, engagement, and retention
    • Resolve complex employee relations and team issues
    • Ensure fair and consistent compensation and benefits practices

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree or above in Human Resources or a related field
    • More than 5 years of experience as an HR Business Partner in a multinational company
    • Experience across core HR functions, including HR operations, talent acquisition, talent development, and HRIS
    • Native level Japanese; high level written and verbal English

    Preferred requirements:

    • Experience supporting M&A activities
    • Prior experience working with labour unions
    • Experience in manufacturing, construction, or chemical industries
