A renowned corporate business services firm is seeking a Commercial Head of Funds Japan. The selected candidate will develop and lead the go-to-market strategy to expand the company’s funds business in the Japan region while managing key client relationships and driving growth.
Responsibilities:
Develop and execute strategic plans to expand the funds business in Japan
Build and maintain relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders to identify new opportunities
Collaborate with global teams to ensure consistent relationship management and lead generation
Drive revenue growth by developing pipelines and closing business opportunities
Represent the company at events and conferences to strengthen brand presence
Lead and manage the full sales cycle, ensuring successful client onboarding and post-sales satisfaction
Requirements:
More than 5 years of experience as a business development or sales professional in a rapidly growing company
Experience building and managing key partner relationships
Prior experience in consulting environment with a range of company sizes
Background in individual sales success
Knowledge of the Japanese corporate, SPC, and fund services network
Understanding of existing technology solutions used by the team (Investran/ Yardi)
Familiarity with Japan corporate, SPC and fund services network
Fluent level Japanese; business level English
