Quality Manager

    Contract Type: Permanent

    Salary: ¥6,000,000 – ¥10,000,000 per annum

    A renowned automation machinery manufacturer is looking for a Quality Manager. The selected candidate will drive customer satisfaction by managing complaints, analysing issues, and leading quality improvement initiatives.

    Responsibilities:

    • Ensure processes operate reliably to address customer complaints quickly
    • Escalate issues to appropriate teams and support collaborative resolution
    • Analyse customer issues and initiate projects to prevent recurrence
    • Collaborate with internal teams to contain and correct quality problems
    • Lead execution of containment actions for known issues
    • Monitor process performance to support continuous improvement

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree or above in an engineering discipline
    • More than 5 years of experience in industrial electric components production
    • More than 5 years of experience in design or quality assurance of factory automation products and offers such as IPC, HMI panel, cable, etc.
    • More than 5 years of experience to deal with quality issues with customers and a proven record on solving critical quality issues
    • Experience in building and operating quality management systems at overseas sites
    • Prior experience in launching and managing production operations at a European factory for a Japanese company
    • Knowledge of facility requirements, industry best practices, customer characteristics, and product/process quality requirements
    • Understanding of electrical components, equipment, and processes to effectively manage product and service quality
    • Familiarity with component production and factory automation systems and standards
    • Professional level Japanese

    Preferred requirements:

    • Chartered Engineer status, a mechanical and/or electrical engineering degree
